Profile:
I am currently beginning the 4th year of my Ph.D. at the Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science. I graduated with a B.S. in Geological Sciences from the University of Miami in December of 2009, and have since been accepted to the Marine Geology and Geophysics branch at RSMAS. I work in the Stable Isotope Lab under Dr. Peter Swart. Research: My main area of research is on the use of multiply substituted "clumped" isotopologues to estimate the temperature of formation of carbonate rocks. I have recently worked on applying this method to dolomites in the bahamas, mixed systems off of Great Bahama Bank, and am further focusing on calibrating and further developing the clumped isotope system as a whole.
